CH. Cinna Di Barbochos Reaiu De Prouvenco CGN: born June 17, 2007, Cinna was imported from France in spring 2008 from Breeder Mme Petre in Tarascon, France. While there we attended the Bourg en Bresse show where Cinna won best male puppy and lost best Barbet puppy to his sister, Cybelle. He is 1 of 8 puppies.

Cinna is registered with the SCC (French Kennel Club) along with a 3 generation pedigree, and CKC, AKC FSS, and UKC registered. He is brown in colour that gets golden highlights during the summer and has amber eyes

He is a goofy, sweet, social male and the “Barbet Ambassador” for American Barbet. He is great with every visitor including the courier/postal service man.  We would like to pursue therapy dogs with him soon. When not greeting guests he likes to curl up at our feet.

Poppenspaler’s Dynastie (Dyna) was born in Belabre, France December 17, 2008. She is 1 of 11 puppies, all black. Dyna had a rough start in her journey here in America, yet she has weathered it so well. She lives in D.C. with family, and now leads a charmed life. She is from a kennel in France made infamous by its creator, Mr Georgii, who is known for his breeding and working of the Barbet.

Dyna is SCC, AKC FSS, and CKC registered.  She is a happy, friendly Barbet, who loves everyone she meets.  Her strong and lean body make her an excellent runner, frisbee catcher and good playmate.

Ginkgo de Xelaju Amelia (Lia): born November 17, 2009 was born out of our own second litter and the moment she emerged we knew there was something special about her.  Daughter of our beloved Xela and Cinna she leads a charmed life.  Spoiled rotten, her one white paw and small stature have the uncanny ability to charm people (especially her humans)  and allow her to get away with anything.  She is 1 of 6 puppies.

She is exceptionally smart and driven.  She knows what she wants and expects her people to give it to her.  She exhibits creativity in her play and can be trouble maker but only if she deems in necessary.

She thinks she should be the head of the household and often takes on challenges that far exceed her size.  She likes to be in control and wants to be the one to approach new people.  When she knows you she will often greet you by wiggling her entire body across the distance between you before curling up in your arms.  I don’t know how she learned to do this but her preferred position is to lounge on the back of the couch often draping her legs over my shoulders.

Teacleopatra Biscay’s Sapphire (Cleo): born September, 26., 2010 in Ontario, Canada was imported to America in winter of 2010 from Breeder Paula Ballak of Biscay Water Dogs. She is 1 of 10 puppies and sibling to Isis (see below). Cleo is registered with the CKC and AKC FSS. She was the only brown colored female in her litter and she has amber colored eyes.

She is a love bug, mellow, and happy girl. She loves to sleep at my side while I work and happily chase a frisbee when outside. She doesn’t pull on the leash and goes with the flow of the pack.

Treasures Biscay’s Sapphire (Isis): born September, 26., 2010 in Ontario, Canada was imported to America in winter of 2010 from Breeder Paula Ballak of Biscay Water Dogs. She is 1 of 10 puppies and sibling to Cleo (see above). Isis is registered with the CKC and AKC FSS. She is solid black in color and has brown eyes.

She is a very smart and driven girl. She is currently excelling in Rally practice  as well as retrieving various objects on land and water.  While at home she follows me room to room but sleeps nearby. She and sister Cleo, are quite often found playing together.

CH. Barbochos Murphy’s (Murphy) - born August 31, 2010, in Trois Rivieres, Quebec, Canada. Murphy is 1 of 6 puppies born to Bibiche di Barbochos Reiau de Prouvenco and Piero della Francesca (living in Italy) from breeder Jacques Cyr of Barbochos3Rivieres Murphy is CKC registered as well as AKC FSS registered.  He is solid brown in color with amber eyes.

Currently he lives in Ontario, Canada with his foster family.   Murphy is great with children, and has 3 in his family. He loves to play, retrieve and run.

Ginkgo de Cleo Carolina: born November 24, 2011, Carolina was born in our home out of our own forth litter.  Daughter of our “Momma Bear” Teacleopatra Biscay’s Sapphire and Nelum-Himalis Disque d’Or She is 1 of 11 puppies.

She is the pick of the litter for the girls and is living with a friend in Louisville. She’ll be working towards her CKC and UKC titles when she becomes of age to show.
