I’ve been a total slacker these past couple of weeks in keeping up with my Barbet posts/news… and that will continue through July 19th as I’ll be at the World Dog Show in Paris! There are 54 Barbet entered which is really an amazing gathering of the breed. From Canada to Finland, several breeders and Barbet aficionados are bringing their Barbet to this show. I’ll be traveling to Anne’s in the Netherlands first then driving with her, Wouter, and their gorgeous Barbet Alba to Paris. I’m going to compete with Alba in the back seat for the goofiest hair out the window photo. My wonderful husband opted to stay home and dog sit which I will miss him but the freedom to roam Paris and the Netherlands dog free will be a happy vacation. I hope to get a plethora of Barbet photos from the show to visiting different breeders in the Netherlands to see some of these dogs up close.
In the interim here are some photos my husband took this past spring/late winter of me and many of my pack. Belle, the german pointer, even makes it into a photo.
