It’s been a long two weeks since Cinna and Isis’s puppies were born on June 7th. We’ve been taking rotating shifts to ensure everyone keeps enough food, care, and warmth. Unfortunately, as nature does sometimes, the two smallest puppies passed away earlier this week. We tried everything we could and had them in intensive ER care at an Indianapolis veterinary specialist but nature can be beautiful and cruel.
Focusing on the positive, the rest of the pack is gaining weight in line with our past litters and their eyes/ears have begun to open. They are beginning to walk and explore a little more each day.
We are thankful for the puppies whom are still here and can not wait to share them in a few months with their new owners.
