Introducing Barbet Lola aka “momma Lola” to us. She is one of the first Barbet to be imported to America. She was brought over from Europe in 2000 by my sister in law. Lola then had a litter in 2004 with Up to Date aka Esko. She had 8 beautiful Barbet babies which then made me hooked and American Barbet was born. Lola is now 10 years old and I had the joy of babysitting her while out in DC. At her young age of 10, Lola is still peppy as ever. When I laced her up for a walk, Lola would prance around with her leash in her mouth rearing to go.
