French Water Dogs

Before you get your puppy

So you are thinking about getting a Barbet puppy…

We place our puppies not based of color nor sex, but on how the puppy’s temperament fits with your family dynamics. We will email you a questionnaire and along with temperament testing, called Volhard’s Puppy Aptitude Testing. and structure evaluations using Pat Hasting’s methods, we will recommend the best match in that litter for your family. We are happy to explain both processes.

Also, we firmly believe in having puppies only when we have a proper waiting list. Our philosophy entails not having puppies available all the time as we feel that is irresponsible for the Barbet breed so often families wait for 6 months to year.

Please note, we do not ship puppies without a human chaperon.
