Before you get your puppy

So you are thinking about getting a Barbet puppy…

We place our puppies not based of color nor sex, but on how the puppy’s temperament fits with your family dynamics. We will email you a questionnaire and along with temperament testing, called Volhard’s Puppy Aptitude Testing. and structure evaluations using Pat Hasting’s methods http://www.dogfolk.com, we will recommend the best match in that litter for your family. We are happy to explain both processes.

Also, we firmly believe in having puppies only when we have a proper waiting list. Our philosophy entails not having puppies available all the time as we feel that is irresponsible for the Barbet breed so often families wait for 6 months to year.

Please note, we do not ship puppies without a human chaperon.
